MLM, Really?

I’m a huge skeptic when it comes to MLM’s. There. I said it. So when I met Karen, and she introduced me to Young Living, I wasn’t initially interested.

But, I was still very interested in essential oils in general, both to use at home and in my massage practice.  I just wasn’t sure what company I wanted to work with. So I read some product comparisons. I compared some oils from various companies in my personal collection.  I read about the process of extracting essential oils, quality testing, sourcing, and business models. And despite my skepticism, I kept being led back to Young Living.

And I was so excited to discover, as I dug deeper, that Young Living is not just essential oils and aromatherapy. It’s a community, a community of communities. There’s Karen, and her upline, and the Facebook groups, YouTube, and the blog… So many real people actively sharing their experiences with essential oils. So much to learn! And then there’s the information accessible through Young Living’s Virtual Office, and their innovative product lines that presented possibilities for using essential oils I hadn’t even considered before!

So, as a wholesale customer, I was already quite happy with the wealth of information and great products I was getting. Happy enough that I started telling people about it, which then led me to look more closely at this MLM compensation thing. I was surprised by what I learned.

This is a great opportunity for people who want to make the switch from harsh, often harmful chemicals to natural products for their home and family. To become more conscious of what they are putting on, around, and in their bodies. From cleaning to nutrition, you can make small changes that have a big impact. More than just essential oils, Young Living can provide a path of transformative self care and personal growth.

If that’s not a path you want to explore at this point in your life, then that is perfectly fine! There’s no pressure or obligation to sell Young Living products. You can purchase the occasional item as a retail customer and leave it at that. But. If you find yourself in an ever-expanding blissful wellness routine fueled by Young Living products, you might want to think about building it into a business. When you find something that sparks your passion and ignites change, it’s easy to share, we all profit, and it brings us joy. And we could all use more of that.

If you want to learn how the MLM structure and compensation really works in Young Living, check this out. Maybe you’ll be as surprised as I was.

I can’t wait to share some of the products I’ve tried so far with you guys. They’re pretty great.

Until next time,

learning to thrive, naturally.
